Terroir

• Semi-mountainous to mountainous terrain with elevations of 300–1200 m and average slopes of 20°–40°, with numerous ravines.
• Poor ασβεστόλιθος soils in the south/west; volcanic and rocky steep soils exceeding 30° in the north/northeast.
• Vineyards are established on terraces due to the pronounced slope of the terrain.
• Mean annual rainfall of 530.35 mm, concentrated between December and March; minimal to zero precipitation during the remaining months.

• The poor ασβεστόλιθος soils and volcanic steep soils shape the character of the ΠΓΕ Λεμεσού wines.
