Terroir
Natural factors
- The production zone features extensive hillside areas with outstanding aspect and soil characteristics that favour a very high level of quality in the wines produced.
- The extremely varied morphological characteristics of the territory create a multitude of micro-environments that allow the cultivation of numerous grape varieties, both indigenous and non-indigenous.
- The production zone is sheltered to the north by the Alpine chain from Arctic winds and cold Atlantic air masses, while to the south it opens to warm Mediterranean influence that reaches as far as the Val Venosta and the Valle Isarco.
