• The Μοσχάτος wines of Πάτρα have roots dating back to the 16th century in Κεφαλονιά, with a documented presence in Πάτρα from at least the 19th century.
• From 1875, Clauss in Πάτρα was producing sweet white wine, in a city with a strong wine-trade tradition.
