Terroir

• Central-European climate with mild winters, reduced temperatures, and higher rainfall compared to more southerly regions.
• The vineyard sites occupy positions sheltered from winds and cold air currents, benefiting from good sun exposure.
• Gently rolling hill relief, close to the plain, bounded to the north by the Șes massif in the area of the Crișul Repede river.

• Viticultural tradition documented from the 16th century: the centres of Diosig, Săcuieni, and Sâniob have attested origins between 1569 and 1578.
• Notable traditional varieties: Fetească Albă, Fetească Regală, Italian Riesling, and Muscat Ottonel.

• White wines with aromas of acacia blossom, green apple, and freshly cut grass (Fetească Regală), with vanilla notes acquired through ageing in oak barrels.
• Red wines with body, velvety texture, and aromas of ripe cherries and morello cherries (Pinot Noir), peppery notes (Syrah), or fresh raspberry (Merlot).
