Terroir

• Soils: leached and calcareous черноземи, sandy-clayey and alluvial — with good water-air properties and a deep profile.
• Relief: average altitude 100–150 m.
• Rainfall: 400–700 mm annually; a prolonged autumn favours ripening and the accumulation of aromas.

• Straw-yellow colour with a greenish tint, pleasant freshness and body, rich in floral aromas.
• The Black Sea climate and sandy-clayey soils yield grapes rich in aromatic compounds, with alcohol ~11–11.5% vol.

• The proximity of Черно море moderates the climate → prolonged autumn → accumulation of aromas in the grapes.
