Terroir

• The vineyards lie on the boundary between the hilly Дунавска равнина and the foothills of Стара планина, at 170–370 m above sea level.
• Умереноконтинентален климат with hot, dry summers; the microclimate is milder than in the plain around Плевен.
• A rocky ridge blocks cold northerly winds; the Osam River brings refreshing coolness during the summer heat.
• Soils are grey forest, alluvial-meadow, and strongly leached чернозем — predominantly heavy sandy-clay in texture.
• The cumulative temperature sum above 10 °C (April–October) is 3,700 °C; mean annual precipitation is 620 mm.

• Deep, saturated colour; an aroma of intertwining red and black fruits that persists through the palate.
