Terroir

• Soils of Quaternary origin, with sedimentary deposits (Pliocene–Holocene) and volcanic deposits (Middle–Upper Pleistocene) from the Lazio volcano.
• Diversified soils: bathyal argille, coastal and aeolian sands, infralittoral calcarenites, and intercalated Alban volcanics.
• Vineyards situated between 0 and 85 m above sea level, with a general westward exposure along the Lazio coastline.
• Mediterranean climate (lower meso-Mediterranean thermotype), with summer aridity from May to August and mean temperatures ranging between 14.5 and 16.1 °C.
