Terroir

• The production area falls within the Black Sea zone, the Southern Coast region, and the Burgas Lowland sub-region, with predominantly flat relief and a gentle slope oriented mainly eastward.
• The lands belong to the Continental–Mediterranean climatic zone and the Black Sea climatic sub-zone, and the proximity of the Black Sea determines mild winters and warm summers.
• The total heat summation for the period with mean daily temperatures above 10 °C, spanning the months of April through October, is approximately 4,000 °C.
• The mean annual precipitation total is approximately 500 mm, and the mean daily temperature of the warmest month is between 21.5 and 23 °C.
• The soil cover is represented mainly by smolnitsa (vertisols) and cinnamon forest soils, with colluvial and meadow soils also widely present.

• The permitted wine-grape varieties for white wines are Chardonnay and Muscat Ottonel, and for red wines and rosé – Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
• Vine-training systems include Umbrella, Moser, and mid-trunk double-arm cordon, with a mixed and short pruning regime and a load of up to 54 buds per vine.

• The microclimate, combined with soils bearing deposits of granite and calcareous sandstone, imparts to the wines a pronounced fruity bouquet, a full and harmonious palate, and a characteristic mineral nuance.
