Terroir

• Late-glacial origin soils: alluvial and fluvioglacial deposits with fine granulometry and absence of coarse material.
• Intense leaching with deep-horizon carbonate deposition, forming a layer known as «caranto».
• Deep fluvioglacial gravelly substrate, a legacy of Alpine glacier melt, subsequently covered by fine fluvial deposits.
• Continental climate with diurnal and nocturnal breezes generated by the proximity of the sea and the network of watercourses.

• Fine-grained alluvial and fluvioglacial soils, with deep carbonate leaching (caranto), yield wines that reflect a plain shaped by the Brenta river.
