Terroir

• Hilly-plain relief with rounded landforms, elevation 50–330 m, situated in the central part of the Дунавска равнина hilly plain.
• Five soil types: calcareous чернозем, podzolized чернозем, typical чернозем, and dark grey forest soils (two subtypes).
• The vineyards are located on the bank of the Danube River within the municipal boundaries of 18 settlements in Ruse Province.
• Mean annual precipitation 570 mm; mean daily temperature in the warmest month 22.3 °C.

• White wines: strongly pronounced fruit aromas with delicate floral nuances; palate — full-bodied, concentrated, and fresh.
• Red wines: aromas of red and black wild berries, chocolate notes, and velvety tannins.

• Calcareous чернозем soils combined with a hot, dry summer yield full-bodied white wines with a concentrated fruit palate and refreshing acidity.
• The умереноконтинентален климат with its hot, dry summer imparts chocolate notes and velvety tannins to the red wines.
