Natural factors
- The Пазарджик plain in the westernmost part of the Upper Thracian lowland, enclosed by the Родопи and Средна гора.
- Преходноконтинентален climate: hot and dry summers, moderately cold winters; cumulative temperature above 10 °C — 3,830 °C.
- Low annual precipitation — around 500 mm; mean temperature of the warmest month 23.8 °C.
- Alluvial-deluvial soils, clay-sandy to slightly sandy-clay in texture, with loose structure and freshness.
- The microclimate is slightly cooler than the southern parts of the Upper Thracian lowland owing to the natural shelter provided by the mountains.

- Permitted varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Мавруд; maximum yield 9,000 kg/ha; extraction ratio 65 l/100 kg of grapes.
Product characteristics
- Colour: ruby-red; aromas of dark forest fruits and pepper.
- Palate: full-bodied and slightly tannic.

- The alluvial-deluvial, clay-sandy soils impart a loose structure and freshness, reflected in the full-bodied palate.
- The cooler microclimate relative to southern Thrace, resulting from the natural barrier of the Родопи and Средна гора, develops pronounced aromas of dark forest fruits and pepper.
