• Shivachevska Kotlina – one of the smallest sub-Balkan basins, average elevation 300 m.
• Sub-montane and low-montane преходноконтинентален climate; annual precipitation 808 mm.
• Soils: shallow leached канелена горска почва, ranging from sandy-clayey to heavy sandy-clayey.
• Protection from the north by the slopes of Стара планина (Eleno-Tvardishka range) – a key microclimatic factor.

• Permitted varieties: whites – Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel; reds/rosé – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Памид.

• White wines: citrus bouquet with floral accents, fresh and balanced palate with juicy acidity.
• Red wines: spices, vanilla, blackcurrant, pepper, wild berries; powerful and full-bodied palate with a light warming finish.

• The sub-montane climate and northward protection afforded by Стара планина shape a fresh, balanced character in the white wines.
• The sandy-clayey soils contribute to deeply coloured red wines with aromas of blackcurrant, pepper, and small wild berries.
