• Dorsale dei Volsci: a Mesozoic carbonate platform (calcari and dolomitized calcari, Jurassic–Cretaceous–Paleocene) forming the structural backbone of the Monti Ausoni.
• Tuffitic intercalations and pyroclastics (of volcanic origin from the middle Valle Latina) interspersed with red argille soils across the Ausoni massif.
• Vineyards from 0 to 863 m a.s.l., with varying slope gradients and a general west-facing aspect on the western flanks of the Monti Ausoni.
