• The 'Vouni Panagias' zone is located in the north-eastern part of the Pafos district, with its vineyards extending mainly at elevations between 800 and 1,150 metres.
• The terrain is mountainous with moderate natural slopes, mainly between 10 and 25 degrees, and the soils are rough, stony, and calcareous.
• Summers are mild while winters range from mild to cool, with a mean daily temperature estimated at 15 degrees Celsius.
• Mean daily temperatures in summer range between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius, while in winter they range between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius.
• Mean annual rainfall is estimated at 700 mm, with December, January, February, and March recording the highest precipitation and the remaining months receiving minimal rainfall.
• The mean daily duration of sunshine in the area amounts to approximately 7.5 hours per day.
